School Council

The Head Boy and Head girl are members of the school council. In addition, each class votes and elects a class representative to sit on the school council.  One pupil from each class, creates the council.

During the academic year the school council have a wide range of responsibilities including choosing resources for the school, being on the interview panel during recruitment and suggesting and organising school social events.

Head Boy and Head Girl

Every year Willoughby are represented by a Head Boy and Head Girl.  The election of these positions take place in July of the academic year prior to their year of service.  Nominations for the positions are received by staff members.  Pupils are usually in Year 14 of the school.  Each pupil and staff member is eligible to vote in the election.

The Head Boy and Head Girl have additional jobs around the school, represent the school at functions and are also members of the school council.
